  I know someone who got sent to prison as a JW for Christian neutrality. Because I knew him personally I feel he did it for all the right, sincere reasons. Because he cared and he wanted to be peaceful.

  After being released, he moved countries, settled, had a family, provided for them and got treated with utter contempt by the elders. His life was destroyed. Guess what? He left and never spoke to any of us ever again. Shame because I'd love to tell him what happened to me. I think it'd make him feel a lot better and give him a good laugh.

  i think blm is a racist group.

  if white people pushed an agenda saying white lives matter, some people would have a conniption..

  No I wasn't looking for domestic violence. I was trying to find examples to show that violence is across the board. Domestic violence is horrible though. I know a lady who suffered the most terrible injuries and fear. What happened was, her friends rallied around and enabled her to escape because they cared about her. Her life certainly mattered to them.

  Also she had the wisdom to grab her chance and get out of an abusive situation.

  Why is it that if I do a Google search on 'white woman beaten by white man' I get nothing but stuff about black men and women being beaten?

  Is Google being controlled by WTBS? Brothers used to say 'if the Society called white black and black white, I'd believe them.'

  Now where's that thread on media bias?

  i'm reading babylon the great has fallen, god's kingdom rules, published 1963. this was studied years ago when i was about 10-12 years old.

  i wanted to just read some of the beliefs from decades ago.

  my wife wants to know why i'm reading this book.

  Watchtower time keeping - it's 3 o'clock so it must be Thursday. When it gets to 4 it's Friday. When it gets to 5 it's 8 o'clock and 8 o'clock'll be lasting 12 hours. And that'll be the new length of the midweek meeting.

  Now we're going to sing our new Kingdom Song. Why not try to memorize the lyrics? Then when you are in prison you can find comfort by singing it to yourself.

  Yes and if you control the platform that that the information is disseminated from.

  There's a game called Simple Simon Says - you have to do something if the words 'Simple Simon says' come before the command. If those words are not expressed you don't do the command.

  Similarly if today the words on the Broadcast are this, you do this. If tomorrow the words are that, you do that.

  I'm not convinced they are simpletons. The organization is carrying out a massive con-trick - a media company aiming at taking over people's moral compasses.

  If you are a con-man and get found out, a useful tool in your box is humour. "Oh it was only a joke." GB members laugh, can look a bit clownish. Then its easy for the audience to not expect perfection or blamelessness.

  Bias in News

  you can't escape bias in the news media, so making it visible is the next best thing.. just came across this site which aims to label the news stories to show who is covering it.

  you can see how some stories are only covered by one side which shows either their bias, or the bias of the other side from not covering it.. well worth checking out:.

  Also their is generational divide. In the 1960s, there was the idea that the young would move into the future and bring about a better world. There was an idea that a revoultion would come and then everyone would have a TV.

  Now they think the young will move into the future and bring about a green world where everyone is on TV - sorry Zoom.

  But maybe it'll come down to whose go the electricity to run the platform. Then the elements being intensely hot will melt or something - there'll be a hissing noise and people will be looking at a blank screen. Hope the blank screen wont be biased. But it might be - after all the victors can write the history on the blank screen.
